Professionals working in an emergency department, and crazy about comics got an idea in mind. Human life alongside with dramatic situations tend to create a very particular climate. How to turn this reality into a comic strip? We believe we’ve succeeded!
The authors
"They save lives but they also do cartoons"The authors are working at the department of emergency medicine at the Hôtel-Dieu de Lévis, a town situated southshore of Quebec City, Canada. These professionals have many years of experience and are daily confronted with stressful situations. It is within this context that the authors would like to create comics, rendering the climate of an emergency department, with its different characters and contexts, into a somewhat lighter form.
Emergency physician, involved in several projects at the hospital. Comics remain his ultimate means of escape. The STAT project has been maturing over many years now, and it is with great pleasure that he’ll make you enjoy it!
